NICU transition & follow-up

Discharge isn't the end of the story.

Leaving the NICU doesn't always mean feeding, growth, or development feel settled. We help families understand what's going on, what to watch for, and what comes next.

You're not alone

Home doesn't always mean easy.

Maybe feeds are taking longer than they should.
Maybe intake feels inconsistent from one feed to the next.
Maybe you're doing everything right and still feel like something's off.
Maybe there are questions about growth or development too.
Or maybe you just miss having a team around you.

Good care shouldn't leave you guessing. It should make the next step clearer.

Why families seek this support

Because a NICU history changes what "normal" looks like.

Many families leave the NICU grateful to be home but still unsure about feeding, growth, or development. We work with you to look closely at what's happening and understand where the barriers may be.

Your Baby's History

We start with the discharge history and everything since, no long explanation needed.

What's Realistic

Recommendations are framed around what's realistic for a family who's already been through a lot.

What Matters Now

We help you tell the difference between what's worth watching and what needs attention.

NICU experience that runs deep

Both clinicians bring direct Level III and IV NICU experience.

Not just a credential: real time in the unit with medically complex infants. NICU follow-up isn't an edge case for us. It's a population we know well, and feeding, growth, and development are all part of that picture, with lactation and nutrition support coordinated when needed.

  • Understand your baby's history and current concerns clearly
  • Evaluate feeding, growth, or developmental patterns most relevant to your questions
  • Build a practical plan based on your baby's needs
  • Coordinate with your pediatrician and broader care team

We commonly help families navigating

  • Ongoing feeding concerns after discharge
  • Growth or developmental questions after discharge
  • Bottle feeding, intake, or endurance difficulty
  • Wanting a coordinated team as needs change over time

You don't need to wait until things get worse to ask for help.

Not sure if it's serious enough yet?

Tell us about your baby's NICU history. We'll help you figure out what's next.
